where is rosalina from?

Rosalina is actually from Mushroom Kingdom but some long time ago when she was young, she found a luma beside a spaceship that took her and the luma to space and they then landed on a comet were other lumas lived and they soon called Rosalina "mama" because they thought Rosalina was their mother, the comet would sooner become the Comet Observatory. They oddly found lots of furniture inside the comet, and that's how Rosalina became the guardian of space and a mother-figure to all the lumas, my description isn't very clear but I hope you will understand the most about Rosalina's origin.
