New year, new design

Finally, a new journal update! What do you think about this design? The header is temporary, I hope to make new images for the header rather than use old ones.

About alternative galleries

A lot of people have been asking me about my alternative gallery.
I can't post a direct URL due to dA's policy, but if you still want to know please send me a note or an e-mail with the subject "Alternative gallery" and I'll give you instructions to access it. Be warned though, that site is much less strict than dA in every sense. :P

Note: you won't find these galleries searching in  google my username as I use different nicknames in both.

COMMISSIONS OPEN

Now, aside from working on up to 10 commissions at the sime time I will open a waiting list of up to 40 commissions to keep track of things more easily. If you previously reserved a slot and you are not on the waiting list please let me know.
If you'd like to remain anonymous, send me a note stating so. Prices and guidelines here. As of today, I will change the prices for commissions containing more than one character. Prices for single character artworks will remain the same, however.

I've been pretty inactive during the last few days due to technical difficulties, they have been sorted out so I'm able to update again.

I tried playing my Japanese version of Smash Brawl online, but for some reason I can't connect (I'm sure that it's on my ISP's end). Fortunately, I got an American copy of Brawl yesterday and now I'm able to play online. So far I've played two matches, the only problem is the amazing lag.

My Japanese copy of Smash Brawl arrived some hours ago, it took longer than I expected but it was worth it. I will be very busy during the next days.
I wonder if I can play it online, though.


And for those who are planning to buy the game:  Now that the entire roster is revealed, who is going to be your main character?

Well, I'm back at home after having spent 10 great days on Germany with my family (and a couple of new friends). It was a long and much needed holiday, I especially enjoyed visiting the local museums and places of interest.
And I ended up partying way more than I had anticipated.

I'm too tired at the moment to write a detailed account (maybe later), instead I'll focus on answering all the notes and commission inquiries that were sent during my absence.

So, how was your holiday?

I'll leave in 1 hour to spend the holidays with my relatives in Germany. This year the reunion will be held in Hannover.

I won't be back until January 2, so I wish everyone a happy holidays in advance and a Happy New Year too!

As I mentioned on my last journal, I think that it's about time to start an art contest. This will be very interesting.

MAIN THEME:
The objetive of this contest is simple (and rather predictable): all that you have to do is to draw the following two characters in a cute or romantic scene:

These two characters in one image is a minimum, you can have more than 2 characters if you want as long as the final result isn't too far from the original theme. If you need even more references please let me know.

ENTRIES
You are allowed to submit as many entries as you want (just remember that quality is far more important than quantity). The work must be complete, so please do not submit sketches or incomplete doodles.
The images can be in colour or black and white if you prefer. Traditional and digital media are equally accepted. Entries that contain stolen elements (such as sprites, official art, etc.) or are against deviantART policies will be automatically disqualified. I was considering accepting written submisions (fanfiction) but I'm afraid that the contest is open to illustrated works only.

Please try to stick as close to the main theme and character designs as possible (outfit variations are ok, though). Mature content entries are allowed, as long as they are not against deviantART's policies.

About Peach Paradise

The site is experiencing a lot of problems lately. For those who are registered members, here is a temporary replacement.

It's been 3 years now since I've joined DA. I really appreciate all of you who watch me, visit my page, comment and fav. It's amazing to see how much I have improved since I joined this site, thanks to everyone's support and the now scarce advice. I would make a list of highlights on this account that I achieved this year but I'm too tired at the moment.

I have just returned from a Halloween costume party hosted by a friend. This year's theme was WWII, which was very interesting and fun.

I was extremely surprised to see that I have been granted senior membership earlier today. I thank lolly and whoever else is responsible for this honor.
