It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Well, I'm back at home after having spent 10 great days on Germany with my family (and a couple of new friends). It was a long and much needed holiday, I especially enjoyed visiting the local museums and places of interest.
And I ended up partying way more than I had anticipated. :faint:

I'm too tired at the moment to write a detailed account (maybe later), instead I'll focus on answering all the notes and commission inquiries that were sent during my absence.

I want to visit Germany :drool:. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Even though I didn't have vacations, I enjoyed my holidays very much. I had two long weekends (four days), one for the 24th and one for the 31st.

I spent half of the first weekend with my girlfriend and the rest with my family on a brand new country house. I spent all the second weekend with my family.
