None of the above. Everything wrong with it will soon be tweaked to oblivion by $lolly (see his official bugpocalypse now journal), and for now, `doofsmack's greasemonkey script will fix the message center. [link]
They worked on this v5 thingamajig long. I wonder why they couldn't fix so basic bugs in the beta testing phase... I'm not complaining though. The new search really does rock. In some fields it's the best image search online now. Some minor details bother me, like the fact you can't see how many faves a user has.
It was a big shock when I first logged in, and I whined about it for about half an hour, then found the search engine. 8D OMG, that's the BEST thing about the change. The search engine is so much more effective. I can actually FIND WHAT I WANT OMG.
But, yeah, I can get used to it.
The uber-huge headers kind of annoy me, though. The big font makes it look like a little kid site, but then again, it's pretty easy to read, so I guess I'll get used to it.
One thing I really wish they'd do is allow club accounts, like they do over at y!gallery. That way us poor admins who start 9458792487ff29842 clubs aren't overwhelmed with updating memberlists and things, and people just click for membership and are automatically added. deviantART is all for community, and clubs are a big part of deviantART, so they really should make clubs a lot more user-friendly here. It only makes sense.

Some of the features they added are pretty cool (such as the improved browse menu and showing more than one recent deviation on your page), but as for an overall layout design, dA 4 was better in my opinion.
Its okay I think. Granted there are some parts I don't like about the userpages, but its not like complaining will make it better. The bugs are annoying, especially the nonfunctional pages in the forums, that and I'm wondering what happened to the ability to hide our pageviews. Also I'm hoping the ability to post news articles doesn't last.
I was anticipating it all day on the 7th. When it finally came around at 1:58 Central time, I looked at it a little, decided it was cool, then went to bed. The bugs have been a little annoying, but I don't use them much, because I'm lazy about commenting and whatnot. From what I hear, these "mood comments" have been acting up. I sugguest that they have a new feature, deciding which version of dA people want to use... to each their own
it's ok, i'm becoming used to it, although the bugs are quite annoying and so is the fact that you can only go into your journal/submit art/edit your profile when your looking at your own page. I think that is tre gay
